Large & Page has managed hundreds of special events including breakfast and luncheon meetings, fund-raisers for non-profits, community fairs and celebrations, new product or facility openings, concerts and galas.
Our services can include planning, logistics, advertising, publicity, operations, day-of-event management and volunteer recruitment and training.
Through the years we have developed a specialty in working with non-profit organizations for their large annual fund raisers, most of which have the potential to create public awareness in addition to providing revenue for the services provided by the charity. The services we provide vary based on the free skills available from the group’s volunteer corps. Often, our duties change from year to year for the same event.
Our services start with a detailed plan based on your organization’s goals and objectives. We create a detailed timeline that details individual responsibilities and serves as a checklist for regular meetings. We also provide a detailed budget for the event that is updated as the event is formulated.
During the planning process, we provide the interface with all outside vendors. All vendor-provided services and materials are ordered at wholesale or reduced rates with purchase orders that become a permanent part of the project file. All orders are approved by the client organization before being issued.
On the day of the event (and sometimes several days beforehand) we are at the event site supervising setup and attending to the hundreds of critical details that go into making a successful event.
Immediately after the event, we supervise cleanup and monitor vendors who return to pick up rented equipment. Generally, we hold a post-event meeting with the event sponsors to discuss future improvements and other details. The event file is then turned over to the organization as part of their permanent record of the event.
