Learning to Work With the Press

We have developed an intensive, day-long seminar for senior managers designed to provide skills in crisis management, interviewing, speech writing and corporate press relations.  Those attending Learning to Work With the Press™ experience actual interviews by working print and broadcast journalists based on situations they may encounter in their positions.  Interviews are audio or videotaped. During the second half of the seminar, the guest reporters review the tapes and provide critiques on each recorded interview.  Students receive comprehensive notes at the completion of the seminar.

On or Off Site     Videotaped Interviews     Critiqued by Professionals

Comprehensive Workbook     Realistic Situations     Individual Instruction and Critique

Learning to Work With the Press is developed specifically for individual organizations and requires a minimum of 60 days lead time.  The "situations" encountered by attendees are written specifically for that group so that they have a high degree of relevance.  Guest reporters are chosen carefully, often from other markets, so that they have no history of working with the seminar attendees in the past and will not sacrifice their professional integrity by teaching at the seminar.

Learning to Work With the Press can be produced for groups of up to twelve in virtually any New England location.  Three months advance notice is required for logistics and planning.
