The Standard Broadcast Calendar Radio, cable and broadcast TV outlets use a special calendar for planning and billing purposes in which all weeks start on Monday and each month ends on the last Sunday of that month. In effect, this rearranges the traditional calendar into 12 months that have either four or five weeks (28 or 35 days). For instance, April, 2012 begins on Monday, March 25 and ends on Sunday, April 29 and December, 2012 begins on Monday, November 26 and ends on Sunday, December 30.
